You're right about the patriot act. And have you heard about the new imminent domain bullshit they pulled in Vermont or Connecticut or wherever? Wal-Mart moved in and said dudes house was in their way and he should sell to them and move. Dude said, "Fuck you" so Wal-Mart sued him in the supreme court and WON!! MUTHAFUCKIN WON!! They ruled that since the building was for the "public good" it was the same as evicting an entire apartment complex to build a new interstate. So dude had no choice but to sell to Wal-Mart for what they offered him, and move. This wasn't a new highway or a hospital, it was a goddamned wal-mart. But anyway, i gotta go setup the machine gun nests and land mines before Toys R' Us decides to go land snatching.
yeah...that imminant domain crap is indeed BS. what pisses me off though is that you get offered what *they* think is a fair price. meaning that you could get jipped pretty badly...
